Construction & draw reviews

Transom compares the current pay application with previous billing, project records and visible work on site. The report separates documented progress from items that still need evidence or an answer.

Establish the baseline

An Initial Project Assessment reviews the available scope, budget, schedule and supporting information to identify important questions and gaps.

Review documents and field conditions

A recurring review brings together the draw package, budget changes, supporting records and observations from the agreed site walk.

Make the findings usable

The written review explains discrepancies, unresolved questions and issues to follow. Progress photographs support the explanation.

Questions about the review

What documents are useful?

The pay application and schedule of values, current budget, change orders, project schedule, prior reports and supporting records are useful starting points. We confirm the document list for the project.

Can you join a project already under construction?

Yes, subject to an agreed scope, access and available records. An initial assessment helps establish the baseline and the limits of what can be verified.

Do you approve the contractor’s payment?

Transom provides an independent review and explains its findings. The client and applicable funding parties retain payment and disbursement authority.

Can you review milestones or closeout?

Milestone assessments and a final debrief can be separately scoped to explain achievement, remaining constraints and follow-up items.
